School of Education

Who we are: The School of Education is a leader in the profession, known for its strong, innovative educator preparation programs. The School welcomes all those who hope to impact the life of a child through education.

Your impact: The funding from our donors has helped future educators overcome the barriers and obstacles hindering their ability to succeed in and out of the classroom. For example, if they are unable to pay for assessments needed to secure their educator license. 

Gifts are also used to support students who want to broaden their experiences and take advantage of an opportunity in an urban setting over the summer. For example, our Milwaukee Urban Experience (MUE) program or an internship with an urban community partner (i.e. SHARP Literacy).   

What your gift supports: Funds are needed to offset the cost of technology needs for future teachers and provide assistance for students exploring developmental opportunities, like faculty-led travel studies and urban education programs.
