Who we are: The College of Business Administration is AACSB accredited and provides an excellent education for students preparing for a career in business. We have over 2,700 students in the College and 68 faculty.
Donor Impact: Past support has included helping the UWL American Marketing Association Chapter attend the international collegiate conference.
Your gift supports: Continuing to enhance the student experience. This includes study abroad scholarships, travel to conferences, and networking opportunities.
CBA Dean's Excellence Fund: This fund serves as a flexible financial resource designed to address immediate and emerging needs within the college. This fund is earmarked for initiatives that are not typically covered by traditional state budgets.
This includes costs associated with recruiting outstanding students and faculty, providing cutting-edge educational technology, access to proprietary data for the classroom and faculty research, and real-world learning experiences such as case competitions and faculty-led study-abroad programs.
Additionally, the fund can be used to attract visiting scholars and industry experts for lectures, thereby enriching the academic environment. Overall, the Dean's Excellence Fund plays a pivotal role in driving excellence and innovation in business education.
Beta Gamma Sigma: Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS) is an international Business Honor Society that is comprised of the top 10% of undergraduate business students at an AACSB accredited university. UWL currently has 20 members and are revamping the organization.
This year we are having a representative from TEKsystems talk to us about how to prepare for our Career Fair on campus and we are looking to give back to the La Crosse community by participating in Junior Achievement and helping promote careers in business and the importance of business in our evolving world.
We are looking to raise funds to be able to attend leadership conferences, host events for our organization, and to continue having initiation ceremonies with the hopes of growing our organization. We are looking to raise $600 to help us achieve our goals.
We appreciate any and all of your support towards our organization that will help us develop professional skills that will transcend through our future careers as business leaders.
