Who we are:
The Adapted PE program is dedicated to training future educators to work with children with disabilities. We prepare special education teachers to serve children both inside and outside the classroom.
How we Live Maroon:
Our Adapted PE students work with local families to provide children with disabilities a safe environment to be active and learn new skills. Our program partners with schools to create inclusive experiences for all students.
Why Give Maroon:
After 40 years, this program will no longer receive federal support. The loss of federal funding creates a service gap for local families and decreases the support this program can provide to local school districts. As a UWL community we remain committed to funding this program and the vital work the students of this program do. Learn more HERE.
